Annoying Cliffhangars

So I am at near the end of an anime series (or I assume is near the end), Code Geass R2, and it's annoying the crap out of me as the past few episodes have ended on a twist or cliffhangar of sorts. It's winding me up something chronic and haven't been this annoyed since Gundam 00.

I don't really watch normal TV much but I assume there are people in the same annoyance boat with shows like Lost or 24.

I wonder whether it's the quality of the show or the fact I am so curious I have to watch the next episode that makes me stick with the aforementioned anime shows. I mean Gundam 00 season 1 ended on a cliffhangar too and seeing the trailers for season 2 October 5th can't come round quick enough!

Argh!

What annoys me more is the incorrect use of grammar, in this particular case using "to" instead of "too".

But are shows that end on cliffhangars well written or is the sheer fact that it is in my nature to be curious to find out what happens next, therefore negates the fact if the showis pap or not?

I think the show has to be good to then be watched. If it was pap but every episode ended with a cliffhanger then one would get bored.

If you watch prison break you would know that almost every episode has a new twist with another cliffhanger and its the same in every episode. Its quite annoying having to wait another week just to find out what happened!

But it's just too fustrating having to wait...and the DVD boxsets never come out quick enough. lol. Can they not do a weekly marathon of a whole season in like 5 days? :D

I think it's a love/hate thing really. I mean you would miss them if they were gone as you lose the excitement, well I think you do.

I like lost and 24 but prefer 24 because there is at least 2 decent twists per season, and I know it's kind of going to end that season, although some have carried over with a cliffhanger.

Lost just adds 10 more questions for every one it bothers to answer, and it's playing on my last nerve!! :angst:
