    DRM Free 'Rock/Metal' Music?

    Hey All,

    Is their anywhere online you can get Rock Metal music that is DRM free? Itunes i good but the protection is annoying.

    I'm sure I don't need to say it, but I will anyway () ..... the above refers to anywhere legal to get DRM-free material.

    Oh I'm sure you were, Drobbins. If I thought you weren't, I'd have removed it. I just wanted to pre-empt any answers that might cause problems. Regular members will know we don't allow the illegal stuff, but there's new members all the time, so I bung in a reminder periodically. After all, our rules are in the sticky and FAQ, but who actually reads them?

    you could also try e-music if you have very specific tastes as there are alot of specialty labels on there and it's nice and cheap

    JK's read all of the sticky's...

    and i'd use play or amazon for DRM-free stuff (or just buy the CD, i prefer hard physical forms [no-one take that out of context...!])
