Seen it ?
What did you think?
Personally i was a little dissapointed, was a bit slow .........
dont get me wrong i did enjoy it but just wanted ........ more
Let me know what you think!
It got trashed by a review in the Bath Chronicle (local paper) so I've put off going to see it. If it's just average then I think I'll save my £6. Shame.
It was shamelessly promoted on last nights Top Gear, so definitely avoiding it.
Never played the game, might go see the film Thursday.
He doesn't look or sound right for a start which is annoying.
I hear the creators of the game were a little bit annoyed with how the film turned out.
Spoiler (for those that didn't play the game)
Apparently you don't even find out his wife is dead or why he is doing what he is doing until half way in... odd
The games were a bit too linear, only ever one door open etc.. but it had a fantastic story so that made up for it.. and bullet time![]()
i saw the movie and i enjoyed it better then quantum of solice
I quite enjoyed the first game, bought the second but never got far - however, the look of the film just doesn't appeal to me. I'm sure I'll see it at some point (on dvd probably) but I don't think I'll be going to the cinema to see it. What's all this stuff with angels and demons I've seen in the trailers? I don't recall that being in the first game...(mind you, hollywood disregarding the source material - nothing new there!). It can't be as bad as Alone in the Dark (caught it on tv recently - oh my word, what an awful, awful film) but yeah...it doesn't look great.
i thought the film sucked. waste of money to be honest!

Well I watched it lastnite, thats about all I cna say about it...
On a seperate note did anyone else thing it looked like VHS just on a big screen?
Surely one of the things they rant and rave about is the crap quality of pirate copies, yet you goto the cinema and the Q is crap...
Well... I didn't think it was that bad! it was watchable, the story was nowhere near as good as the games. What it really lacked was any kind of commentary from the main character, one of the best things about the games was how Max described everything in detail like a 1940s detective film.
