To be honest, I can't make a judgement all on Sekirei season 2...I've only seen the first episode and that was back at the start of July with the pre-tv airing version. It's not a great series by any stretch of the imagination but it's a good laugh for the paper clothing fighting harem ecchi fest; in other words, sit back, zone out and enjoy. :D
Do you know what Ulti? I've lost track of where I am upto on the Claymore manga; I've purchased the first 15 volumes (that is or was available, not checked this month), been reading the latest stuff online and just like you I have lost where I am upto as I haven't checked in a couple of months. I kinda remember reading about Priscilla leaving Raki and then just kicking (or rather I should say, eating/tasting) everyones butt and Raki getting kidnapped by er...some people....but that's about it.
I think I found the last episode of Macross Frontier just too "perfect" or "ideal" in terms of having a happy ending. If you've seen the Macross Plus movie, the way that ended was pretty awesome. :) There was a sense of happy ending but it was tinged with the reality of the (sad/awful) truth of the past and his (the guilty party's) method of self-punishment.
Macross Frontier was like "Oh wait, you shot me but now I am a good guy because you finally destroyed the one thing that was controlling me" and the whole "oh I'm dying/dead from this disease, oh wait, thank you Ranka Lee for your singing and saving my life. I'm alive again!" It seriously sucked as it was all orchestrated so no-one had a bad ending (apart from Michael and Klan but that happened way before the final episode). The homage to SDF Macross: Do You Remember Love? was quite good though, as well as the homage to Macross Plus with Alto remotely guiding his VF-25 via his hand movement and not forgetting the entire episode about filming part of Macross Zero with Sheryl and Ranka. :clapping:
 Ranka's Nyan Nyan Delicious Deculture song is annoying...it's getting to the stage of carameldansen annoyance. Though I have to admit, I'd love it if either of those songs replaced "go compare" man :D
I'm trying to finish off Kimi ni Todoke...only I'm missing episode 21. LoL. Not good as I'm upto episode 20 already. Ahh well, I'll have to skip it and hopefully nothing important happens.
I also picked up "Kaichou wa Maid-sama" and up to episode 6 of that; it's quite an amusing story and the way Misaki is drawn reminds me of Skip Beat so it's all good so far. :)
I should also mention I picked up Amagami SS but that is a er...stange show? The opening to the first episode was promising but on episode 3 and it's getting strangely...perverse without being graphic. I do get the feeling this show is based on a non-family friendly video dating game.
