    Gran Torino

    Saw this last night

Very good film which I thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish... Eastwood with a fine growl...
Seriously though, well worth a watch

Got to agree there, well worth £6 and a couple of hours.
If it really is Eastwoods last film as an actor, then he's going out on a high.

    Re: Gran Torino

I liked it, perhaps a little too racist for credability at times but still a badass, old .. but a badass lol

Also a little predicatable I thought, and I was expecting a little bit more action for some reason... but it didn't dissapoint me at all.

    Re: Gran Torino

I dunno, i think the racism in it had its place, and the way the characters dealt with it was spot on...

predictable definately but the way the film comes across is superb.

    Re: Gran Torino

I thought this was completely misrepresented in the trailers - came across as more of an action movie. Was very good nonetheless.

    Spolier:

Was a little disappointed by the ending. Didn't seem like justice tbh. When he was on their lawn, and asking them for a light, i thought he was going to reach for some kind of detonator and blow up the house!

Yeah agree with the misrepresentation in the trailers tbh... i thought it was gonna be mroe dirty harry style clint eastwood tearing stuff up...

    Spoiler:

nah, the ending was coming after he got measured up for a tailored suit.... that was where it unravelled itself tbh... Im not gonn say i saw the lighter coming, i thought he was gonna pull his pistol like he did on those black dudes harrassing the chinese girl and wigger... but a just ending indeed.
