I was so happy when I saw this. Where the wild things are was always one of my favourite books as a kid (it helps that I share the name of its hero, Max), I even had a where the wild things are party as my 22nd birthday (superb costume potential).

This is an incredibly popular book, so there must be others out there who are interested in the movie

I only vaguely remember this story. Something to do with the kid being upset and creating his own little world inside his bedroom.. perhaps?

The trailer looks good though, I'm sure my gf will want to go and see it.

Didn't see this thread before. I used to love that story when i was little. I was really surprised to see so much about it when i was in San Francisco a number of years ago.
