    Fast and Furious

Anyone been to see this yet?

If you enjoyed the 1st and possibly the 3rd film you should deffinatly see this. I actually really enjoyed it

It does completely ignore 2 fast 2 furious... which is always good

a mate said he watched it and it looks liked they rip off a computer racing game at times with some of the chases (not 100% sure what he was on about)
    spoiler**
Also heard there was an issue with his challenger being blown to pieces and then Vin diesel is driving the same car right at the end
    **spoiler end

Yeah there is a race using a rediculous GPS system that makes it looks like a game.. its a load of nonsense but it's funny (in a really really dumb way).

    Spoiler:

He isn't driving it.. but the car does seem to be alive, though it could be some time later and it had been fixed I suppose. Won't say any more than that

Im going with a bunch of the SXOC lot prob sometime next week, the adverts make it look like its more an action film rather than that of the previous films.

    Re: Fast and Furious

I think I'd agree with that. There's also the making of a plot in there.. I would go as far as a plot still lol

The only thing i would have liked is a bit more of the scoob because it made the new one look and sound very nice

Were going as a piss take really, but decided to also make an evening of it.

As long as it was better than the 2nd one then I'll be happy!

Font colour just like in word, change to white.

Or wrap your text in this

    [**COLOR="White"**] [**/COLOR**] remove the **'s

    Re: Fast and Furious

Ahh yes, I was supposed to post about this film

Saw it a couple of weeks back and it was enjoyable. Silly, stupid but in a good way. GPS is just idiotically funny but the film never takes itself seriously. As for continuity I am pleasantly surprised it has some!! Good film to watch with your mates - personally I found the original the best, followed by Tokyo Drift and this one. 2 Fast 2 Furious is probably the worse pile of poo I seen in ages.

I guess it has to be considered 3 since they had the misfortune of actually making 2 fast 2 furious (which is actually a guily pleasure of mine haha but I do hate it as a part of this franchise). The only tie in I could see with 2 was when he picked his skyline, "Crashed one of those" ..

They seem to have confirmed a 5th movie now, so that might be interesting.. following tokyo drift no doubt else that one might start feeling a bit redundant as well.

Thats the only one i've seen

I liked it. It's not a classic by any means, but good entertainment.

Really need an HD set so i can watch mt HD-DVD of them all.

    Re: Fast and Furious

I like Tokyo drift as well, what I mean is if they make another prequel to it, drift will just feel like the movie they made to cash in (like 2 fast).

    Re: Fast and Furious

Went to see this with about 8 other SXOC members. + Orange Weds = win.

Gotta say it was quite good, dont take it seriously and yeah not bad really.

It does still fall in this order.

    1.Original Fast + furious.
    2.Tokyo Drift.
    3.This new one.

4.The second that should never be seen or ever spoken about again.

    Re: Fast and Furious

I thought it was great fun. Not as good as the first one (less said about the gps bit the better) but the references to the first film did crack me up. 'Its good to know that you cant beat me straight up!!!' 'You're still the buster!!!'
