Don't forget the naked boobies. They're important too!

    Re: Terminator Salvation

The set pieces were entertaining for the most part but the rest of the film was a mess.

Poor dialogue, crap score, plot holes, excessive homages to the previous films, Common's bad acting and the transforminators...

Ultimately it didn't feel like a Terminator film at all to me.

    Re: Terminator Salvation

James of the AVGN fame made a review here http://www.cinemassacre.com/new/ (scroll down past the Nintendo Press Conference entry) and from the sounds of it, he relates most of the good/bad comments on this thread, and also comment on the PG-13 (i.e. no big deal). Summary, not amazing, but on par.

    Re: Terminator Salvation

Sounds like the film was made by a committee to me.

Trying to appeal to everyone often seems to mean appealing to no-one. When will they realise...

    Re: Terminator Salvation

Tbh, i enjoyed it .. there ARE certain "plot holes" which i was trying to explain to the mrs (that's a job for john connor)

All in all i found it quite enteraining, it was much better than T3 but lets face it thats wasnt going to be difficult.

i will be interested to see where they go with T5,

    7.5/10

    Re: Terminator Salvation

I thought it was great to watch although I was not expecting much due to comments about it pre-showing.

Anyone spot the mistake at the beggining or what I thought was a Mistake? I will leave it a couple of days though....

Generally enjoyed it - better than t3...

[Only grumble... wish Bale sounded a bit less Batman-y... he was ok otherwise as John Connor.]

    Re: Terminator Salvation

I enjoyed it a bit more than Terminator 3 but I really didn't like T3 very much.

I was very happy when they played Rooster by Alice in Chains though.

6.5 out of 10 from me.

    Re: Terminator Salvation

Didn't think it was great to be honest. Again, not a patch on the first two, on a par with the third.
