So many films, so little time, critics judgements are useful, thou i do like to get a concensus approche (also from friends/coworkers), i've not found anyone i agree with enough to follow.

But it ment things like the new star trek i knew where good enough to go see at the imax!

    Re: Transformers 2

I'd say if you enjoyed the first one you'll dig the sequel, it doesn't reinvent the wheel and it does feel a little rushed at times but it's good enough that you don't realise you've been sat there over two and a half hours.

    Re: Transformers 2

I thought it was pretty good (will look good on blu ray) but i felt i could tell what was going to happen in the ending to early on (Film had about 3/4 hour left) but there were a couple of suprises and funny bits.

Right at the end though (last couple of mins) was nearly identical to the first though.

Overall though it was fairly good and will be buying it on blu ray when it comes out.

I'm just going to assume it's Michael Bay makes 'plosions with stompy robots, and other 12A-rated 'splosions with Megan Fox.

I will probably see it at some point, because I like all the references to the original series- and it's nice to be able to veg out and just look at the massive robots.

    Re: Transformers 2

I thought it was OK. I think there is a danger of getting distracted by the amazing visuals () and visual effects, so you do perhaps think it's better than it really is.

I enjoyed it, the new characters made it quite funny but I think that was played on a little bit too much and the plot seems a bit thin at times.. but overall if you liked the first one this one wont dissapoint.

The first one grew on me, hated it when I first saw it but then when I realised it's just a popcorn flick it starts to make more sense.. With this in mind I was able to warm to this one quite quickly.
