Absolute Radio - Gotta Love it.......

I recentley realised that I was too old to listen to Radio 1, Too Young to listen to Radio 2, Have too much taste to listen to Kiss and need some music to break up the interesting bits on Radio 4.

Absolute radio has been my saviour, great to wake up to in the morning, Brill Sat night rock show - funny DJ's and best of all a decent range of recent and back catalogue music - if you haven't tried it and your feeling as I did give it a try

Only one reason to listen to that station and that's Bruce Dickonson's Rock Show. They had the nerve to take it off the air this weekend though for the crap music and festival they call Glastonbury

I got sick after 20 minutes of the coverage from the blatant name dropping of MJ to get the band a bit more credit. Suppose when you like mostly heavy metal and more extreme metal, most of the chart crap that was on at Glastonbury just bores you to tears.

I also guess that when you don't particularly listen to heavy metal and other more extreme metal, most of the music you listen to would bore me to tears

Radio 4 and Radio Five live are my staples..will give any station a go without adverts.

Since I got a DAB radio it's been all planet rock in my house to be fair, not only are the DJ's much less annoying than the average commercial station but the music's always pretty good to boot.

I like planet rock - just it's a bit too 'rocky' for the mrs
