I was disapointed with the trailer, probually because it has been so hyped it can't possibly live up to it!
After seeing the trailer for this I wasn't that impressed but just got back from seeing it tonight and it really is amazing! The story is pretty crap and you know exactly what's going to happen next but that doesn't matter because the rest of the moving is just stunning!
hmmmm ... interestingggggg:secret:
If you've got Adobe Air, try the Air trailer too, it's pretty interesting..

Give you little interviews with the actors and some background info too, but also a lot more on the film itself.
Going to see this in 3D on Friday. High expectations and going by the rest of the films this year its most likely going to let me down!!
But sure we'll see..........
I'm off to the Imax to see it tonight. Looking forward to it, but a bit skeptical also.
Saw this last night, and it does up to the hype,
very pretty film without being too unreal, and they didn't forget the plot/dialogue
-its a good film in its own right without the wonderful CGI.
Local cinema had it on both 3D and 2D, the 3D was sold out, so we went to see it in 2D.
It's such a good film I might go and watch it again (in 3D with the specs this time)
My thoughts quickly:
Bad script, story felt like it was 10 years old and hadn;t been updated since, unconvincing acting at times.
All forgiven as it looked amazing - live action and 3d was seamless, the world was sooooo detailed, the animation was so convicing. Really, it;s only the fact that it's got 10' tall blue humanoids and glow in the dark foliage that makes you know it's not real.
I'm quite excited about this now, got tickets booked for me and some mates for tomorrow night.
Saw it yesterday with the missus.
We both thoroughly enjoyed it. Fantastic 3D although I felt there were some continuity problems throughout.
