    Recommend some good heist/robbery/grifting movies?

I've spent the past few days working my way through Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch, Layer Cake, The Bank Job. Now besides the somewhat obvious Oceans 11, 12 and 13. Note there's an emphasis on comedy - except for Layer Cake which was a bit more serious. I was pretty pleased with the Guy Ritchie films (the screenplay is superb) so Rock n Rolla is next on my list, and there are the old classics like The Sting (old one), the Italian Job (old one). Any recommendations on my next outing?

Preferably a good, English comedy - hey, we make 'em best - but any great criminal themed film with a suitably twisty ending is fine!

    Thanks guys!

The Long Good Friday is pretty good as a UK gangster style film, its not funny though.

The Escapist, Ronin, The Score, Matchstick Men, Confidence, The Bank Job, Maiden Heist and Bandits, some are better than others but they're all good

Inside Man and Flawless, they don't have any comedy in the script, but very watchable heist movies.

Apparently the new Sherlock Holmes film by Guy Ritchie is very highly rated. You might want to check this one out in the new year.

    Sexy Beast.

Not really comedy, but the story line and performances are brilliant. It's British, and it does involve a robbery
