    Question MIDI Keyboard

I've been thinking about getting a MIDI keyboard but I don't know what exactly it is I need so any pointers would be good. I'm under the impression I will need a MIDI card for the Pc as well not only to connect any instruments but to alleviate any latency as well ?

for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

    Re: MIDI Keyboard

Simple USB keyboard will be the best bet chap. Depends on what you're trying for and expect from a keyboard. Are you planning on using software instruments? Are you after a (semi?) weighted action, how many octaves?

    Re: MIDI Keyboard

Sorry for my delayed reply. I have no idea or the software instruments front, but if a USB one is the best route to take do you have any suggestions I could look at.

    Thanks in advance

    Re: MIDI Keyboard

Behringer make a few USB MIDI keyboards that might fit the bill, being Behringer they'll be relatively cheap as well. You will have to trade off some build quality for a lower price going Behringer but for bedroom musicians their gear is reliable enough in my experience. Honestly though, keyboards aren't really my area of expertise so while they might be worth a look I'd hang on and see what Lowe has to say to be honest
