Captain America

I see Chris Evans (Not the DJ) has won the role of Captain America. If you don't know or can't remember who Evans is, he played the Human Torch in Fantastic 4.

Thoughts?

I was a bit sceptical about imagining him as Captain America and I haven't really seen him in many films aside from Fantastic Four.

But he gave a good performance in Sunshine so I think he has the talent to pull off the role.

So obviously the "keeping the films in the same universe" idea doesn't extend to FF & FF2

Well they wouldn't be able to anyway since the FF films are produced by Fox.

As far as I understand the recent Hulk and Iron Man films were made with Marvel still retaining the film rights hence why they can do the ensemble Avengers film without any headaches with the major film distributors.
