Listening to Atlantic 252 (ahh, the good old days), back when I was 13 or 14, there were so many great songs... it wasn't until I started buying REM albums that I realised that half of my favourites where theirs!
Sum 41 - All Killer No Filler
It's still a good album to this very day, perhaps one of their best!
Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs - Derek and the Dominoes - 1972 I think it was.
Don't remember the first tape album I had, but first CD album was:

I think the first one bought with my own hard earned cash was System of a Down's first album.
The first album i actually brought was 50 CENT - GET RICH OR DIE TRYIN probarbly the only album i ever actually brought lol
So in 7 years you've only bought one album - surely you're not relying on broadcast radio to fulfil your aural needs?
Sparks: Propaganda, 1975. Kind of proud of it now, although I didn't own up to it for years.
Weezer: Pinkerton. Favourite album of all time.
Appetite For Destruction - GnR
Still the greatest album ever
Other people may disagree but they are wrong :)
I can't remember what the first album was that I actually bought. Back in the 70s though, I didn't have a radio, instead I had a grand total of 2 taped albums bought for me by my parents, both Leo Sayer (like this) :embarrassed:
