Alter Bridge - AB III

Anybody else managed to get hold of this?

It is a rather spectacular record, best one I'll buy this year without question (I haven't bought many, I'll admit - Iron Maiden's latest effort is one, and I have Taylor Swift's new Album on pre-order (honest!)) - a fantastic collection of songs, a few different styles - all with the trademark brilliance on the vocal front from Myles Kennedy.

Plus y'know, Mark Tremonti is possibly the best rock guitarist playing today - which helps!

I saw them in Glasgow last night too - first night of their new tour, what an amazing show. They're brilliant live too - highly recommended!

Anything that get 5 stars in a Guardian music review is to be recommended. That's how I have gotten into so much (diverse) music recently. It's next on my list.

listening to it now... its pretty good.... it hasnt grown on me like the first and second albums did, but give it time :)

going to see them in birmingham on the 25th...

last time i saw them it was the best gig i had been to since zeppelin (and thats quite the accomplishment!)

Cracking album.. not as easy to get into as their first but definately a grower, much like Blackbird. I'm also happy to report that having seen them on tour last week, it ALL works rather well live as well :rockon:

Got their first from Play this week.

Sounding pretty good so far.

Will be getting the others no doubt.

Hey its pretty good.... I think that it hasn't grown on me like the first and second albums did, but give it time for making it so popular.
