Sorry to hear you say about Tarantino, Deathproof is one of his finest works IMO, classic Tarantino in every way - can't wait to get the Grindhouse box set and see it in true double bill style with adverts between But that's the joy of cinema, it's as personal as music.

If you like action films, then Taken is a really good one - slightly cleverer than most.
Serenity was quite good fun - SciFi in the style of Joss Whedon (of Buffy fame)

Watched 'Young Frankenstein' last night, definitely one of Mel Brookes best, much less stupidity than others of his. Witty and well filmed. Also notable for having Marty Feldman - died too young.

Should have been a one star movie? They have to be truly drivel.

The last time I saw one of those it was the last eclipse movie at the cinema with th ewife. It cost me £20 with popcorn and I have never let her forget it!
