I love me some Dystopia, if you liked Moon checkout Gattaca and Cargo.
Also, Soylent Green.
Legthigh and Maxtractor both had some decent lists
Someone mentioned Escape from New York alongside two awful films, while you can ignore those, EFNY is awsome

Would anyone else rather gouge their own eyes out before watching The Social Network, or is it just me?
Anyone know if The Warrior's Way is worth a rent?

My wife is wanting to see Social Network, must admit I'm not fussed as i dont do the whole Facebook thing now, got shot of my account before Christmas and never looked back.
A REALLY great movie to add to your list is Unleashed with Jet Li (aka Danny the Dog), one of the best movies I have ever seen, it has so much depth, Morgan Freeman and Bob Hoskins fill their roles perfectly also.

Thankyou for all the recommendations. My subscription has ended.
I'll see if I can get some more reviews up at some point.
Let's be clear, Highlander is the best film ever, EFNY is merely awesome.
Book of Eli - It was pretty mediocre until it went all religious garbage at the end. The last 15 minutes made me want to rip out my eye sockets, stir fry them and feed them to a hamster. And then comfort the hamster for in some quantum way having had to watch that film even through its bowels and the process of Osmosis.
Shutter Island - I derived the plot from the trailer and it was pretty tedious.
Hmmm :
Schindlers List
Last King of Scotland
Dorian Gray - My god, I almost fell asleep during that, wasn't really what I was expecting
Jon
Er no - worst film ever thread is that way ->
loads of good films in this thread, here's some more:
Dark City
13th Floor
Existenz
Butterfly Effect
From Dusk till Dawn
Bicentennial Man

I shall avoid those on the basis that you clearly have no taste.

Watch hop or Sucker punch movie I'm sure you'll like it.
Yeah, we know, we're just using the thread to recommend to each other now.

Enjoyed The Eagle the other night, a film that never received a lot of press but well worth a watch. If you like Legion you will like this film too.
True Romance - Simply amazing. I love this film. Christian Slater-Patricia Arquette-Dennis Hopper-Gary Oldman-Brad Pitt-Christopher Walken-Samuel L. Jackson-Michael Rapaport-James Gandolfini
Black Hawk Down Blu Ray in 5.1 and turn the volume up.
Heat Blu Ray 5.1 turn the volume up
Kick Ass - I put off watching this as I didn't think I'd like it. What do you know? Nick Cage picked a good movie to be in.
Up - I love GOOD animated movies. Up has a touching story and awesome animation. If you own dogs it should have added appeal.
Already been said, Midnight Run is a must see. Even if you've never seen it it's been copied so many times you'll know the story, but it's never been done better.
For light relief : Blazing Saddles or South Park 2 of the funniest films ever.
