The Kite Runner.... don't bother!

What a pile of pooh.

Genuinely ... pooh.

This is one of several films I promised Sair I'd watch... part of a film deal we did.... where I watched 3 films I didn't wanna watch.. and she's watch one I have been wanting her to see for years....

and this was RUBBISH.

If you made it into 3 minutes of the start of the film... cut to the last 30 mins and shrunk it to 15.. you'd have a half decent Radio 4 play!

Junk... utter pants. It missed evey mark, from romance to emotion.

Utterly dull. I'd rather see Slum Dog Millionaire again and that was... dull !

This is not the "Kite Runner" is it? As I really enjoyed that film and the book....

Yes, the Kite Runner.... he hated it that much he can't even remember what it was called ;)
TBH, I wasn't keen either despite having wanted to see it for a while. Generally a good story, but could have been told in 20 mins, then would've been quite good, but I found it very slow :(

My better half has read the book and liked it. Not sure if she has seen the film though.
