Tarantino Films - I do like most of his films, but yeah especially Dusk till Dawn, Kill Bills, Pulp Fiction etc.
Inception - I really liked it, one of the better films i've seen in a long while, but then i dont over analyze films, i just try and watch them for what they are.
I just expected too much from Blade Runner I think, hearing about it, seeing references then eventually watching it last year, just didn't turn out to be the genre defining classic I'd imagined :(
Inception - I couldn\'t get past the fluff, it was just overly complicated for the sake of it. Nothing that really stuck in mind mind as being a \'wow\' moment & a pretty ropey storyline. Plus sprout-face was in it...!

Well I work for a German company - trust me, just like there are levels in hell, there are a myriad of levels of tedium :O_o1:

I feel it would be more classic if you watched the film when it was first released (depending on your age), The effect the film had on me at the time was enough to make it one of my fav films, But it's like Escape From New York, which is my all time favourite, if you havent watched that film and watch it tommorrow it would be easy to say, it's ok, nothing special but to me the effect it had when I watched it when I was 10:clapping:. It blew me away, when I watch it these days I can easily fall back into being 10 again.
Although Bladerunner and Escape from New York should never be mentioned in a 'Worst film ever seen' thread so both films need to be :ban: from this thread.:)

Loved this film, saw it twice in the cinema (had to, didn't make any sense!). I thought it was a clever storyline, did seem very, very long winded with all the dreams but kept me on the edge for a long time!
Tarantino films, godlike - the way everything is so OTT is very fresh to films I reckon.
My worst film I'd have to say would be Planet of the Apes remake. Utter bloody boredom, I've attempted to watch it on several occasions but I keep falling asleep.

As they've said above, had you watched it "back in the day" it would have rocked your world.
See if you can find Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? in a charity shop and give it a read (remembering it was written 40 odd years ago)
Re: How about your worst film ever?
Borat! what freaking waste of time. 90 minutes of my life I will never get back
Re: How about your worst film ever?
It's been a few years, but I would still go with My Little Eye . Everything about that film made me actually angry; from the risible script and characterisation to the co-option of "Teh Interweb" as a poorly conceived mcguffin, to the oh-so-entertainingly wacky camera angles... I mean I wanted my time back after sitting through the Blair rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbish Project, but MLE was an order of magnitude worse; I'd never sat through a film that made me want to physically harm the makers before :D
edit: @ Rob B - I didn't get Life Aquatic either, and I'm with you on Braveheart - mind you, I'm seriously considering a category for "...and anything made since about 1990 with Mel Gibson's involvement", I think... :D
Re: How about your worst film ever?
Anything made by Uwe Boll, specifically House of the Dead. It's like watching Justin Bieber sing.
Re: How about your worst film ever?
Meet the spartans must be up there I would say. Its so awful I think it could be used as a form of torture.
Re: How about your worst film ever?
Ild say the worst film ever was called Dreamcatcher
speilberg fail tbh
it started off good, like a good thriller, then it went all comedy stupid
not good!
Re: How about your worst film ever?
dragon wars was a huge pile of crap
Re: How about your worst film ever?
Aliens Vs Predator
Terrible, terrible film... so cheesy as well when the predator and the last surviving woman join forces and he gives her a battle trophy at the end.

Re: How about your worst film ever?
As a subscriber to Lovefilm I rent and watch a lot of films. Of those that I've watched all the way through recently the worst has been 'The Boat That Rocked'. Supposed to be a comedy? I watched it with my wife and we didn't even smile once. A deperately bad film.
Another nasty little britflick was Donkey Punch.
Also Inception....just awful.
Then there was Spielberg's goof: 1941....what was he thinking?
Re: How about your worst film ever?
I watched The Expendables tonight. I don't even know how to begin ranting about its awfulness.
