One film, two words - The Core!

Landing the space shuttle in the LA river was enough for me. Succeeded Volcano as my worst film. The Core is so bad it made Volcano look plausible.

What is it with bad movies and LA?

    From years gone by: 'Zardoz'.
    From recent years: 'Atonement'.
Must confess that I was persauded to watch the latter as it was suggested to me that it was primarly a film about Dieppe '42.

Still having therapy on both couts.

Re: How about your worst film ever?

Has no one mentioned 'Pearl Harbor' yet?
The only film so bad, they wrote a song about it...

I miss you more than Michael Bay missed the mark when he made Pearl Harbor.
I miss you more than that movie missed the point and that's a lot girl.
And now, now you've gone away and all I'm trying to say is Pearl Harbor sucked
    and I miss you.
I need you like Ben Affleck needs acting school.
He was terrible in that film.
I need you like Cuba Gooding needed a bigger part.
He's way better than Ben Affleck,
and now all I can think about is your smile and that sh!tty movie too,
Pearl Harbor sucked and I miss you.
Why does Michael Bay get to keep on making movies.
I guess Pearl Harbor sucked just a little bit more than I miss you.

Actually thinking about most pre-1990 films based on his books were pretty good. After that they vary from average to downright awful.

tried to watch it twice and fell asleep both times, completely void of entertainment.
I thought that was OK. Not up with Lynch's best, but certainly better than a lot of tripe knocking about.

Re: How about your worst film ever?

The remake of King Kong, so long, sop drawn out, saw it in the cinema with friends, and other people that were watching it walked out half way through.

Second to that has to be Burn After Reading, it started out alright but got worse as it went along, I so want me money back for wasted time watching that one.

Burn after reading was rubbish. I've not seen THe Men WHo Stare At Goats, but have tarred it with the same brush. They were, I believe, roughly contemporanous.

Against all odds, I really enjoyed Up In The Air.

Didn't he attempt a movie version of Far Cry? (Not seen it, just dredging up some trivia from way back when...)

Re: How about your worst film ever?

Just about anything that George Clooneys done since , " Oh Brother Where Art Thou "

His middle aged suave demeanor just bores me too tears , hes so damm predictable in ever film , you can almost sleep walk the rest of the it knowing come hell or high water good ol George will always be one step ahead of the game , or in control .

Theres nothing intense or stimulating , about him on any level - unless your female i suppose.

He was by far the worst Batman , and imo is incredibly overrated .

I used to think Pitt was , but hes proven to upped his game considerably with films like that Benjamin Button ( which was great ) compared to Clooney .

I mean people say Keanu Reeve is wooden - which he is , but at least hes been in some interesting unlike the piece of crap " Syriana " which is only the 2nd film i ever walked out on.

    Hi,

Unstoppable with the usually reliable Denzel was so laughable, it has to rate as one of the worst I've seen ever, and I've seen lots

Re: How about your worst film ever?

Given the amount of praise it received, and the almost cult following; one of the worst films I have ever seen is Donnie Darko. Maybe I just didn't watch it in the right frame of mind, or just didn't 'get' it - but to me it just seemed to make no sense and I didn't find the characters very interesting, and I thought it was just (dare I say it) a bit boring? Each to their own of course!

2 Gs & A Key. Seriously, a colleague at work loaned it to me, promising me that it would be better than the previous terrible film he made me watch (The Room). It wasn't.
