Films to watch on a Projector: 2012 :-)

    2012!

Oh man.. that film is IMMENSE....

rubbish story... rubbish acting on the whole...

but HOLY COW.. it was CGI heaven... on a 7 1/2 foot wall in Bu Ray HD>. man I was CLINGING to the sofa!

    /deep breath.

In 2012 an ancient prophecy comes true.. that the sun chucks out a huge solar flare-up, warming the core of our planet... causing the tectonic plates to come loose and slide about, restructuting earth.

You want to see a planet crumble?

you want to see mammoth sky scrapers collapse while planes weave in between.. and see the office furniture fall out?

you want to see air fields collapse into mammot holes while aircraft give it death on the throttle's to escape?

oh man... it was EDGE of the seat stuff!

rubbish story.... 100% worthy of a view.. and tbh .. again immediately after

2012 is good - saw it at the cinema, but to have that in your own lounge - nice!

Heat and Saving Private Ryan - the scenes in those are immersive on the big screen with surround sound pumping out the gun fire.

the OTT CGIness made it watchable in for a 'for the lulz' kind of way but overall it was an atrociously bad film.

I watched city of god at the cinema and it was brilliant on the big screen. The colour you miss on the little screen.......

2012 doesn't really look like my kind of film tbh.
