Tyrion sounds a lot more impish IMO on audio - more like a Bronn

yeah though TBH i was not so thrilled about the whole zombie thing, its getting so cliched and overdone now in culture that its boring , Id rather see one superpowerful undead being like a lich commanding undead giants or something else other than humans..

Also the way the warlock died was a cop out.. seriously .. the dragons never attempted fire until now ?

Youd think he would of known - no ?

    Re: Game of Thrones

Agreed melon, zombies were a bit "meh" as was the warlocks death.

That being said not sure I can wait a year until season 3 starts...

I have some shows Ive quite enjoyed that should be coming back in the autumn, like Grimm and Once Upon a Time ( im a fairy at heart u see )
and I will prob watch Supernatural too ( although its borderline bad now )

Not sure what else is worth watching , I tend to like offbeat stuff , sci-fi or fantasy.

    Re: Game of Thrones

I'm not watching much else at the moment, most of the shows I follow have finished their run (Game of Thrones/Big Bang Theory). Think I'll watch "Revenge" on 4oD as they come out though, first episode was alright.

Need to see what is on in the Autumn too.

    Re: Game of Thrones

I did get a cheap laugh at home when (during the tower scene) I sang "Pleeease, Khaleesi, let me gooooooooo," (To the tune of Engelbert's 'Please Release Me.')

I didn't enjoy this series as much as the first but I did keep watching it, every Monday evening, so it can't have been that bad. I'm looking forward to the next series and really must try to read the damned books again.

I agree, I think the problem is you have one dynamic with the Lannisters, and the rest not so dynamic .

As far as other Houses go - none come close for characters.
I warmed to Stannis a bit after the battle , Arya after her exchanges with Tyron ,Sansa from Joffery , was intrigued by Jaqen , but probably ended up liking the Hound the most out of the bunch.

Theon provides some good but his House doesnt.( I think having him with Sno in the blackwatch is badly needed ) and Rob ?

Well he just dull for me - along with Sno , their not fantastic actors and depend a lot more on the others round for support .

    Re: Game of Thrones

Zombies are a product of the "others" or white walkers.

I quite liked Brienne in the books; to me the only trustworthy character in the entire story.

    Re: Game of Thrones

I love the GoT series, its been good viewing so far and easier going than the books for me. However, the news that The Dark Tower is being televised is just superb! All I need to hear now is a film/hbo version of one of the many superb Iain M Banks books.

I'm a bit confused as to what happened at Winterfell.. there was a relieving force coming to the Stark's aid, Theon's lot knobbled him but then the entire town/castle seemed to have been burned... but by whom?

    I's confuzzled I is.

I can copy/paste an answer an answer from the Aria forums if you want.
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

I've made the important bit white so you'll have to highlight to view as to avoid spoiling it for others.

First, Rodrik Cassel (master-at-arms of winterfell) isn't killed by Theon. He's sent to Torrhen's square to take it back after the ironborn attack (S02E05), which is being led by Dagmer (the guy that knocked Theon out in this last episode). The rest of the ironborn (and Theon) take Winterfell. Soon after, he frees Ramsay Snow (of House Bolton, though Theon doesn't know) from the dungeons after Ramsay vows him his service. Asha (the sister) returns and takes most of the troops back with her, leaving Theon and a skeleton crew. Rodrik then lays siege to Winterfell (this is the siege that you can hear outside). The siegeing troops are approached by men from House Bolton (not introduced in the series but an ally to the Starks) who are apparently there to help them. These troops betray those from Winterfell and kill most of the soldiers, including Ser Rodrik. Ramsay inside Winterfell then betrays Theon and takes him prisoner and meets up with the remaining Bolton troops outside. They then take him back to the Dreadfort (their castle).

In summary, I have no idea what is supposed to have happened in the series.
