I laughed at the Ending , if only they had , had Tyrion grin when Cersei was given her marching orders too.
Between Rob, Tywain and Beric there was srong nod towards the consequences of blind faith in this episode and where it would lead , blind for letting Hound go and the fact Beric was already been partially blinded / killed ( by his brother no less ) , blind for Beheading CarrStark and blind for expecting ones authority to go unchallenged ( I see Tyrion & Cersei forming an alliance now )
There was even much blindness on the part of the Mad King misplaced faith , or was that just madness instead ?
anyways..

It was so satisfying seeing that smile being wiped off of Cersei's face
I've not been enjoying this season as much as the last but it was all made up for by the line "Just cause you want him inside you don't make him one of us".
I dunno , I could watch Tyrion play mindgames with people for a whole season easily , but I think the lack of him is starting to leave me a bit indifferent .
Aside from giant does any one really care about Jon Snow ?
And Rob is a too boring as well too have gotten the time he has had. In fact TBH i dont care about any of the Starks at all this season or their cause .
Watching Theon get mindfd and tortured is no fun either , is it really necessary , cant they just cut to the point ?
Yep there's lots more to come from Tyrion for sure!
I loooove Arya; the feisty little one has a long journey ahead of her too. In fact, if she ever meets her sister again they'll be soo different as to be on another planet (as I guess the Royals are compared to the hoi-polloi)...
This is the only programme where I'm trepidatious every episode for each and every character that appears. I mean, nothing good is ever going to happen to them, more likely a hideous and/or protracted death. Quite unnerving![]()

I liked Arya last season because she was round more interesting peeps , but starting to find her quips and outburts more annoying this season.
You could stick the great characters like , little finger & Tyrion with any one and hed still be interesting - not so her
I think Jamies story is far more compelling and interesting now than hers because all she wants is revenge , whereas Jamie is evolving into something else.
So for me this season Jame has been the standout along with .. that old wifey Olenna ( Though I personally dont like her ), whose got the better of Varys & Tyrion now , perhaps it will be Littlefinger this week ?
Though I sense hes about to take big step forward in upping the stakes too.
My current list is ..
1. Jamie
2. Littlefinger
3. Tyrion
4. Varys who was no 2 last
5. Cersei ( mainly because of her oneup manship with her wee bro )
Id prob have Sandor in top 10 too , Bronn at no 5( but we've seen so little of him ) and Theon in there too along with Ned ( if hes hadnt died )
I liked the mysterious Assassin guy too from last season , this season so far its maybe been Brienne as the supporting actor to Jamie's evolution - I think Charles Dance deserves a special mention too given his stand out scenes with Arya last season , and in the ending of lase weeks episode too.
BTW. Any one been wondering where Grand Maester Pycelle is ?
i know hes obviously not on council any more , and assume hes not dead

Well well , no porn this week - not even a rump in site and another pretty epic ending .
Best scene of this week ?
Dragons look like they've had a bit of a growth spurt , and not just in size either .

Oh man, I love me some prime rump
I reckon if this was a Tolkien Jackson production, there'd be a helicopter shot of the Wall pulling back from the romantic couple and panning around the majestic mountains of NZ (or NI / Nor in this case) ... it being 'only' HBO they couldn't afford to make it seem quite so epic, but it's still exciting that the Wildlings managed to get there and scale the beast too.
I like the red-headed minx too, just how their relationship can last in such turbulent times will be interesting (and sad, probably)...

I'm definitely enjoying this series more than the last one - the first was still my favourite, though.
I think I'm finding a problem with a lot of the nobility, particularly in King's Landing. I don't find them convincing - for me, the Lannisters work, the Tyrells work (spelling?) but Littlefinger and some of the others just don't seem like upper-class types.. too much obsession with mundane tasks they should delegate to umpteen lackeys and lickspittles! My background is in medieval history and I know this is fantasy but even so.. hmmm...
But remember LF & V were working class , they both worked themselves into the positions they're in from relatively nothing , so for them its probably a challange as much as giving others the impression they dont harbor any grand designs / are a threat.
Only Varys really seemed aware of the threat LF posed if you recall because in many ways his climb has mirrored his own,the only difference being their perception of what they see as their existence .
For Varys its about stopping the Chaos , the unknown like that voice he heard , for LF it far more objective because hes never has had anything to lose - so everything's an opportunity, a ladder to use or hinder you.
The ladder is not bad or good , but every rung on it is earned , and everyone on that rung is stuck and dependent on someone / something elses existence .
There is no way down without falling so the best you can do is either climb up and face each risk , or hope to influence as many others as you can , until you are above everyone else.

^^ Varys was sold into slavery and was to be killed for a sorcerer. but he didn't and worked his way to where he is now.
LF is the grandson of a `made` Hedge Knight and great grandson of a sellsword - he was fostered by the tully`s and grew to love catelyn
