Well, I found that episode a bit yawn inducing...
Well, I found that episode a bit yawn inducing...
Just love this thread, and the programme,......but sadly, not enough Killing for me....the Politics becomes boring after ("and you know he\she said something").....want more GORE....Loads more KILLING and Blood spurting from every orifice imaginable, preferably, new ones, made by Humans, my new BFF's...............and now, to the Babies!!Mwahahaha
Aside from the end , it was a bit pointless for me..
For one thing its clear now we are prob going to be lucky to see any battle at the wall - or possibly any at all.
I get its not all about war , but I think some characters ( the more boring ones like Rob or Stannis ) need it to make for their lack of personality.
Jamie maybe the best all arounder when it come to this - and the Hound and Bran are not too bad talking as well as fighting when they need to too..
You know what we havent seen yet ?
A good ol cat fight ..MEOW
hmmm we got at least 1 slaughter fest this season .
awesome episode , although theron torture is getting boredom now.
I cant see the battle of castle black being this season - 3 major fights in 3 episodes? season will end with the red wedding AFTER the events in kings landing and maybe a cliff hanger like end of season 2.
btw GRRM has said the tv series will catch up to his books before he has finished the final one
TBH I think they could do a one-off special or even a feature film that would enable the budget for some big battles, 'cos atm it looks like they're holding off due to financial constraints. There's certainly been few 'epic' moments recently (though I understand a lot of the pleasure is in the small ensemble acting)...
Don't know if there's ever been a series that had a film while it was still running on TV though... X-Files came well after and wasn't great, Serenity was good but prob only happened cos Firefly was cancelled; umm, Sex & the City?
Anyways I'd definitely pay to see a big screen episode in 3D et al![]()

The last D&D films were a bit poor; I guess it'll be down to who directs them.
If there was a GoT film who'd u want to direct? Lots of choice but Peter Jackson & Spielberg are too obvious; Guillermo Toro perhaps or even Tarantino (that'd be funny) - as long as it wasn't JJ Abrams![]()

Oh heck, why not just stick with the same guys / forumla thats worked so far ?
I honestly wouldnt like to see it in any one elses hands because it just wouldnt be the same beast .
I dont care who it is , all artists have that ego and desire to put their creative mark on something or else there wouldnt really be any point for them in doing it - not unless their unkowns...
but if I had to choose maybe Jim Jarmusch or the deceased Stanley Kubrick.

brings new meaning to ` aren't you a little short for a storm trooper`![]()
I love this thread, partly because I am a huge GoT fan but mainly because someone used the word 'defenestrate' in it![]()
