How much of it has Mr Lucas ruined this time around?
Yeah, I got mine through the post today too..
Just finished ep 1 - TPM, transfer seems good for the most part - I did spot an iffy bit in the pod race sequence, I can't say I was scrutineering it particularly carefully though.

I haven't watched any of them yet, will be a few sessions! It was just over £57 from Amazon UK, but I had a £20 voucher.
VII VIII IX anyone in a few years?
I like how you can buy the trilogy on its own.
Lucas can keep his jar jar binks....

I'm going to wait for the 3D BluRays.
The industry needs to learn how licensing works. No way I am paying full price for the same content again with some bells and whistles added......I'll wait for the bells and whistles first!

3D doesnt do anything for me really. Until they perfect something that doesnt require me to wear glasses.
Watched Episode IV last night. Loved the detail on Blu-Ray looks better, so a good transfer. The lightsaber scenes were a bit juddery, IMO could have cleaned it up a bit more especially nowadays. The audio varied in places, sounded like a different bitrate and clarity varied between scenes. Might have been down to microphone positioning at the time, but it was funny how I noticed this.
Lots of extra scenes and bits added in which was nice. Looking forward to Episode V
To controversially quote Darth Vader: Noooooo
