Always loved Red Dwarf. Pleasantly surprised by the newest series as well. Was not expecting much but it's just as funny as all the older ones

Looks quite interesting , what is like , a poor mans version of GOT ?

    Re: Your favourite TV series...

It's a bit different. It's set in a made-up town in England but during a real historical period, or the background stories are real. It's adapted from a Ken Follett book. I would watch Pillars of the Earth first, but mainly cos it's got Hayley Attwell in it...

I remember that one..was good fun and a great premise. Could easily have made a longer series from it.

It is good but towards the end you get the feeling they had to cut it short and rush it.

    Re: Your favourite TV series...

Always been a Simpsons fan so if i had to name 1 TV series, it would be this. Recent episodes have been a bit hit or miss but it still makes me laugh even after all these years.

Live action tv series, there's too many to choose from, the usual suspects:

    Sopranos
    The Wire
    Breaking Bad
    Dexter

I started watching Revolution last night, had me glued from start to finish Hope it doesn't turn out to be as dire as Lost...But it does have Billy Burke in it, which is good. His acting is slightly better in this than it was in Twilight

Fraid you're in for a big disappointment. Lost is way better than revolution. In fact Heroes is way better than Revolution.

    Re: Your favourite TV series...

Really impressed with 'Arrow' so far.
They've made a great, well written show out of what is something of a shoddy premise (ie Batman but arrows).
The pilot impresses, and then the next few episodes just get more compelling.
I'm commenting on an internet forum. Your facts hold no sway over me.

It certainly gets better as it goes on but honestly, I haven't been particularly blown away by any part of it. Casting is poor, acting is poor, plot is poor with the occasional spark of moderate entertainment. Fight scenes are pretty cool but even then it's inconsistent.

    Re: Your favourite TV series...

Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad are my two favourites at the moment, can't pick which one I like more because they are just so good. The Walking Dead used to be my favourite but in my opinion it's just getting worse each season.
