Easily the best thing I've ever watched! Definitely try to see it!
Re: Your favourite TV series...
I haven't got a single favourite. Too many different programs are on my "really like" list, but for different reasons. I loved Babylon 5, and Stargate, though for slightly different reasons, but also enjoyed Morse and Frost, both of which were way different, and The Wire, for yet different reasons.
A lot depends on what mood I'm in to the type of program I want. I other words, I love the diversity.

Thats a hell of a lot.
I only saw some towards the end and started to get into before MacGyver left.

Dunno why I love SG so much, it just appealed to me on so many levels, much better with the new Daniel Jackson (not Spader from the movie). I suppose I just had the hots for Amanda Tapping - this all vanished when I saw her in a documentary and heard her *real* accent :)

She doesnt have the worst accent ive heard on ,SG-1 seems more Canadian to me ( slower , thoughtful )
I like Spader in other films , hes bit too edgy for SG-1 IMO.

Blimey, that fires some neurons in a rarely used portion of my memory. I s'pose Z-cars wasn't bad ..... in it's day.

Don't watch many series nowdays, but definately The Big Bang Theory, with How I Met Your Mother a close second
Re: Your favourite TV series...
I've just finished watching Homeland Season 1, very impressed by it.
Would give it a solid 8/10 if I was to rate it.
