I love some of the cover versions that Muse have done, like this:
Feeling good
House of the rising sun
Cake did a good cover of I will survive, there a lot more I like but these were the first three that came to mind when I saw this thread. I might add more later.
Agreed, those two are excellent.

Even if you've not heard the original (of which there multiple 'originals') its an awesome cover.
Edit: FWIW the Live Lounge albums are actually really good IMO.
