Hulk & Captain America are atrocious films. Iron Man 2 is mediocre. Thor and Iron Man are excellent though.

Hulk was a huge let down for me, loved Iron Man 1/2, Thor was OK. Still steeling myself to be let down by Cap A.

    Get the sub NOW !

I have good memories of the shadow (1994). As above spiderman. Liked the Batmans but then again there are not alot of superhero movies I would want to watch again.

Lets no forget Flash Gordon. If only for the soundtrack and the legendary Brian Blessed.
I seem to remember Darkman being good.

    I liked the first 2 X-men films , Superman 1 / 2 , Batman 89 , Conans and of course FLASH !!

Dont like Nolans films at all and Bale is way overrated IMO .

Didnt like Iron man , Thor etc at all ( partly cos I find Downey irritating as hell to listen too.)

Funny finding this tread as I was thinking the same. Got Thor and Captain america for free through a promotion with my new phone. Really enjoyed captain america for some reason but Thor which I had really looked forward to watching was a little disappointing. Already seen IM1 - Just need to watch iron man 2 to finish the required set I think. Not bothered with the Hulk though as I never liked the bits of the first one I saw on TV. Just hoping this new film takes the best (iron man 1 and just spices it up a bit with new characters)

I liked Cap A too , but the plot / story didnt haven enough face offs , it really needed more redskull , but the overall vibe / balance of CGI was good - unlike Thor and Ironman which is just cgi fest with the usual boring plot lines.

Norton wasnt good as Hulk , hes far better in the heel or villan role and would of made far better Loki .

There's a short clip on the Thor disc that explains why RDJ saw Ross at the end.

    [spoiler]
Basically, some pen pusher in the government wanted the Abomination in the Avenger program (despite being locked down in Ross's custody), Fury doesn't want the Abomination but couldn't refuse the request so the SHIELD guy from the IM/Thor film sent Stark to talk to (read: antagonise) Ross so he'd make sure the Abomination would get sidelined from the Avenger initiative.

Re: Preparing for Avengers: 6 Films to watch

Going to see it tonight in 2D!! Not paying cineworld for 3D that will most likely be mediocre.

I loved the Iron man and thor films.

Wasn't a fan of the Hulk films or Captain America.

Guess everyone has their own tastes and if you can like at least 2 then there is a 50% chance you will like The Avengers

Re: Preparing for Avengers: 6 Films to watch

I watched it in 3D on thursday night (since the 2D viewing was on a tiny screen apparently)
Really wish I'd watch it on the smaller screen, didn't like the 3D at all, wasn't a bad film, Hulk stole the show in my opinon, a lot more humour in it than I was expecting, worth a watch, but nothing groundbreaking.

Just back from watching it in 3D. I actually realllllllly enjoyed it. The banter and jokes were very good to be honest.

    Good show! Go see
