Gig souvenirs
When I say 'gig souvenirs' I mean the stuff that gets thrown into the crowd at the end, usually guitar picks and drum sticks. I actually managed to catch my first one today after many many gigs, and since this was the last date of the tour the drummer threw in one of the drum skins, signed by the band :) Luckily all that drunken frisbee paid off and I caught it because if I didn't I may be missing some teeth now :p

There were plenty of picks/sticks and even a couple of cymbals (although he didn't throw those!). I was wondering if anyone else has come away with anything interesting over the years!

Re: Gig souvenirs
Nice one, a mate of mine nabbed one of Keith Emerson's blades in 1992 at the Albert :)
Jammy get !

Re: Gig souvenirs
I managed a signed drum stick at T in the Park 2000(?) - don't even remember which bank it was from though

Re: Gig souvenirs
i've got quite a few plectrums and one or two drumsticks and setlists, but the best was a tambourine with the artists logo on it and a bunch of ribbons tied to it, which is how i got it as about 14 hands grabbed the tambourine whilst i grabbed at the ribbons falling towards me, not knowing wtf was happening. everyone else let go as i wound the ribbons round my hand, then i stuffed it up my t shirt so no-one would try and nick it

Re: Gig souvenirs
I've got a System of a Down drumstick from years ago and a few things signed by Stone Sour as well as some smaller bands but the gig souvenirs I'm most attatched to are probably the ones from my own gigs - old plecs/badges with the band name on, artist passes from venues etc.
