Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?

Recently started watching The Lord of the Rings Trilogy again, up to an hour into the second film, there is lots of bits I do not remember from the first time watching them (this is only the second time I have seen them, mostly started watching them again because I have watched the new Hobbit films recently too), but then it is an extended version now which may explain new bits.

They are brilliant, better than I remember, 9/10 =)

Guardians of the Galaxy. The music and comedy alone was enough for me. Really fun.

I watched Interstellar last night. Possibly the best film I've seen this year. 9.5/10

Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?

    Had a small glut recently...

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes - 9/10 - really enjoyed it
Redestination - 7/10 - Very odd film indeed!
Left behind - 1/10 - Nick "I'll do it Gary" Cage in utter tosh that appears to be based on the same book as the Leftovers series but sets itself up as an airplane disaster movie rather than concentrating on the millions of people who vanish.
Guardians of the Galaxy - 8/10 - Good romp.

I watched Tron the other night. Absolutely love the film. The soundtrack fits perfectly with the film. I'd give the film an 8/10

It's not a 'need to see at the cinema' film, even though it's set in space. Get the disc when it's out, it'll be equally enjoyable on a smaller screen.

Or go to the cinema on your own...

Watched the inbetweeners 2 on Bluray last night after missing it in the Cinema - total let-down, maybe 2 funny moments in the entire film.

    3/10

Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?

Still haven't managed to get through that one, the little one keeps getting restless and wanting to do other things. Bit of a shame as I'm really enjoying it and want to get to the end!

I watched the Inbetweeners movies both last night, bit behind i know. Quite enjoyed them, held onto the spirit of the show and were a good laugh.

Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?

I Frankenstein, my daughter bought it for me on Bluray. Watched it in 3D and thankfully it wasn't just a 3D conversion of a 2D movie, we enjoyed it, very much similar to Van Helsing.

Typical monster movie but it was a good waste of time, wouldn't say buy it but watch it when it lands on Netflix or wherever

Peter Quill: Really? Well, on my planet, we have a legend about people like you. It's called Footloose. And in it, a great hero, named Kevin Bacon, teaches an entire city full of people with sticks up their butts that, dancing, well, is the greatest thing there is.

Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?

Finally got around to watching 'The Grand Budapest Hotel'. I must admit it wasn't what I was expecting, though it was similar, and I certainly can say I enjoyed it, a good film. A note of warning however, most of the "big actors" cast in it are in it for mere seconds of screen time. The film was novel, but it didn't blow my mind. I'd give it a watch if you've got some free time, but if you want a great film I recently watched '12 angry men' which is a must watch in my opinion!
