    Id be surprised if your behringer interface didn't come with a lite version of some decent software.that or try reaper - supports vsts etc is free (will keep asking you to register). Most kit inc the akai thing i mentioned come with some basic software or vouchers toward something. Id recommend Ableton Intro if you were happy to spend ~50 quid on something with a few features

    Someone gave me the Moog Modular softsynth last year, I had some fun to start with but dont have a keyboard right now so its a bit painful to use....
