My old mate Mike is being given the boot at the BBC. Mike has been presenting ther Folk Show for as long as I can remember.

Even if you dont *like* folk music, we really do need a national outlet for the living tradition for it, and the Beeb has to be it !!

So, do me a personal favour and sign the e-petition ?

Signed, my dad loves his radio show, and the bits and pieces I've heard haven't been too bad!

I'll sign it as soon as the page loads for me (slow dodgy connection in the middle of the north sea).

We are big folk fans in our house, although I don't listen to that particular show. Travelling Folk on BBC Scotland is also good.
