Right.. for £12, I'd like those minutes of my life back please. all 148 or whatever they were.... I mean... blummin hell.. I could have enjoyed a proper film like Casino Royal again or better ..... much better.,
You know it's bad when you look at your watch when Bond's in a fight!
Where to start? Bond Look A Likes on motorbikes who don't look like him ever with motion blur.. or the real Bond on a bike that's got motion blur ot make it look like.. like.. something from 1990, so he need not ride it in real life. It was dire.
The Island Scene... or the Tube/Underground scene.. Cut n paste and put where you fancy.. makes no difference.
Acting? I'm crap with names, so the dark-made-up lass in the casino... looked REALLY scared .. very good act. Well before Bond told her she was scared... you knew. Very good acting.
Moments of cinema skill.? Wel filmed in most places... and a clever sound switch from microphone to real life in the casino, as Bond passes his collegue... but seriousy.. when those moments are the highlights. .. you're in pain.
Diggers on trains? Contrive me a new one... maybe a fridge in a dessert sand dune race next time?
Utter rubbish.
What's with the CGI when he removes his face plate? I mean... ... he's not Gollum....
utter drivel.
Walked out glad it had ended.
and here's the rub.... I hate Adele and her opening track was a highlight.
I despair... really I do.
Casino Royal had me glued... heart beating. Three times now. Love it.
Quantum was dull.
This was... worse mainly.
I really do despair.

I really liked this film. I mean it's a bond film so yeah, you have to go in with that in mind. But deffo one of the better ones.
As an IT professional, there was one bit that really screamed Schoolboy Error, I won't give too much away, but it really was amateur...
I thought it was alright, but it seemed to be attempting to bridge a gap between "old Bond", i.e. Q, cars, gadgets, Moneypenny, simplistic overtly evil baddies and "new Bond", i.e. gritty realism.
That's always going to be an awkward route to take. I wonder why they bothered with the transition stuff - the whole way through it was so obvious that they were harking back to the past. Old car, old house, old jokes. So we get it, you're moving the series back to how it used to be.
But in that case, why not just make a film in the old style? We don't need 150 minutes of transition so we understand why the next film won't be gritty and political like Quantum of Solace.

ooh.. post of the week.
Exactly... exactly.. but worded better than I knew how too.
it was the old n new merged for no better reason than to .... prove it's doable.
Bourne IS the real Bond. Casino Royal followed Bourne towards a proper, hard, gritty, dirty... calm and strong Bond. A killer... a ruthless killer.
and then it went all Roger Moore again with Quantum and this pile of SkyFallOutOfMyBum rubbish

He just does not fit the role and as such ruins the entire movie for me.
For the record I felt the same way about Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace as well good movies ruined because Daniel Craig was bond
Daniel Craig in Casino ... genius. Perfect... best bond ever.
in the rest.... far below Jason Bourne and therefore... rubbish.

Top 25% Bond quality...........and that MEANS real QUALITY! (Adele's song is **** though)![]()
Did anyone find that scene really creepy where Daniel Craig was in the warehouse sitting on the chair and the villian was slowly opening his top? It definitely added to the villians 'creepyness'
i also prefer bourne to bond movies, but this one was still good.
