Film trailers .. so bad their good or sometimes just bad

Does any one else find some trailers more interesting than the films themselves or just so bad you cant resist watching them ?

Different times call for different styles but I still get a kick from seeing trailers from bygone films nonetheless.

I have both films on dvd, as a result of wierd trailers. so they do servea purpose the trailers :)

I find modern trailers tend to follow a certain pattern. It comes from quiet, quiet, loud, quiet again, quiet then LOUD!

I tend to find them predictable esp when the music slows down to speed up to explosions and M bay action.
