I thought it might be useful to have a thread on Hexus,so we can keep a track of any new series which are out ATM,or were released last year.
In case anyone has missed them,there are two interesting series which were released last year,both called Continuum.
The first is a Canadian TV series which stars Rachel Nichols:

Its kind of a mix of Time Trax,with a pretty lady fighting the corporations.

Thanks Cat, great idea. Tron and Defiance look interesting, anything by the Farscape team will be good.
I'm not too keen on the new Primeval though, I'm hoping that it will grow on me, but so far its the same episode every week.

Awesome idea. I'm assuming most of you will have already seen the indie self funded preview ep of L5. It's a hard sci-fi series. Just a 20 odd minute episode so far, but it was an interesting premise:

Not impressed with anything apart from Continuum.
Good Sci-Fi shows are no longer made .. no more Star Trek series, no Earth Final conflict, no Sliders ... meh
Continuum is fun,but Defiance might actually be good.
hopefully this isn't a country restricted video. no idea how good this is, haven't got around to it yet but i've heard a lot of good things from the first series. might be worth a look if you can get it from somewhere?

tend to agree, but I am not that bothered as other genres like GOT fantasy or TWD & AHS Horror are far better IMO.Originally Posted by OilSheikh
They need something on par to compete ( not that I mind low budget stuff ) but all these show tend to be a dime a dozen , with the same non-stellar acting and dodgy cgi ( more like watching a cut scene from a VG rather than a proper show )
Id like to see something Steam Punk , or a new take or spin on it rather than clones of Farscape etc

AHS Horror??
Anyway,if people keep posting new series in this thread,we might find something good that pops up.
AHS ( American Horror Story ) S2 has been the TV shows of year for me , well was
TWD so far has not been as good and GOT only picked up towards the 2nd half ( highlights been that battle of course )
Arrow is ok ... mixed on it
Personally Id like to see Bruce Timm do another DC cartoon show at some point ( guy basically behind Justice league / Batman Beyond etc )
Dont underestimate old / rare or foreign shows either , I came across some interesting one in my travels , and may do so again.
