    Re: Lost.....

At least it has an end, I enjoyed the Sarah Connor chronicles but they cancelled it.

    Re: Lost.....

You will find that the majority of shows have a hard time sustaining the same levels of involvement as the seasons start to mount up. I also concur that the first few seasons of Lost were great but then it lost (no pun intended) it's way, which wasn't helped by the writers strike at the time. The ending was a little strange but overall still a worthy show. The same could be said of Fringe but with not so many unanswered questions. Even one of my all time favourites, 24, tailed off in the final seasons

Shows for me that kept a high level of interest till they ended were things like; The Wire, The Sopranos, Breaking Bad (when it ends this year) and, Star Trek Voyager (Seven of Nine... )

Battle star galactica was done through the writers strike and they kept the momentum going all the way through to the end. But I agree with you on some shows they tend to fizzle out.

Or recently most series I have started to watch have been cancelled just as they started getting good. Flash forward the event stargate universe to name a few
