Oh dear, that is not going to end well.
Utterly, utterly disgraceful. Well, we're going down to Cornwall again this year, so I'll at least get a look at some of the beasties flying from Culdrose.
edit: I should note that a good friend of mine was rescued after a climbing accident where he'd fractured his spine by one of the RAF's big yellow taxis. Won't be any of those anymore. So, we're now an island that has no maritime patrol aircraft and will shortly have no air sea rescue aircraft either. Aside from whatever dodgy refurbs and castoffs the lowest bidder wishes on us.
