    Easy readings....

    Hi All,
In my attempt to complete an ironman, I'm running and cycling for long periods of time. I stave off boredom by listening to audio books. I've worked my way through most of Lee Child and David Baldacci's stuff. Does anyone know of any similar authors?

Ideally the stuff needs a strong story line as I occasionally zone out for a minute or so!

Ah yeah. I've read quite a few of those, but I think they do audiobook versions too. Will add them to my list.

    Thanks!

    Re: Easy readings....

For some crime fiction you could have: Michael Connelly (LA based detective), Harlan Coben (New York/New Jearsey), Peter Robinson (Yorkshire detective), Simon Kernik (London), Peter James (Brighton).

I think Nigel Planer narrated the earlier ones.

Stephen Fry did the early Harry Potter ones as well...

I would get an Audible account and see what's going for free/cheap as an intro offer...

    Re: Easy readings....

I already have an Audible account. That's where I get all my stuff from. 2 books/month on subscription - bargain really.

I've listened to the Stephen Fry Harry Potter ones, they were pretty good.
