Resurrecting this thread now that its all over..what are people's thoughts about who won?
Personally I think he made the right choice on a pure business sense (both ideas were awful!) but a terrible moral and personal choice. There is a lot of money in plastic surgery for non medical purposes but you do need to throw away all your morals in the process..and as he said on the show himself it is a huge risk to take.
I doubt anything will actually come of it anyway and it's good TV, but still a bit crazy. I would have gone for luisa (and not just because she was the hotter of the two, honest ) as I think she'd do better in whatever industry she was working in..much stronger candidate even though she did kind of mess up the final.
Curious to see what happens next (if anything) given than this is supposedly an investment rather than a job - guess we'll see in a few months!
I found the last episode even more contrived than the rest. No way would you do all the work for a business venture and then suddenly decide you're going to chose the name based on a few hours brainstorming with some random ex-candidates. So many of the filmed sections looked completely contrived as well - Luisa runs her own cake company near where I live and she didn't need to go and ask another shop about their business or what they were looking for in a supplier - completely pointless section 'for TV' and it looked it.
As such I didn't really get any kind of idea about the business plans, because the whole thing was so edited to be about these imaginary personalities that the BBC were highlighting rather than the realities. But I suppose it'd be more boring if you realised that actually aside from some minor quirks all the candidates were actually quite clever and got on fine for the most part.
Yeah a bit dull this year, preferred it when it was employee rather than business partner tbh...
Still strangely addictive for some reason
