Kung Fu Movie Help
Hi Guys,
I was wondering if anyone out there can help me identify a movie.
It's a classic/older martial arts movie with a particular scene in it. It might be an early Jackie Chan movie but I couldn't ID it if it is.
The scene, I believe, is a training sequence (it could be a battle scene but I don't believe so) where the 'hero' is jumping/ducking etc. a red flag being waved by the 'master'. I believe it was an actual flag and not a spear with a red streamer on it.
It's been bugging me for days now.
Ring any bells?

Could be "Once Upon a Time in China" though thats Jet Li not Jackie.

Re: Kung Fu Movie Help
I may recall watching a movie similar to what you say but not sure, I think it could be Drunken Master.

Re: Kung Fu Movie Help
Can anyone find a clip?
I've not tried Once Upon A Time in China so I'll look tonight, but I had a go with Drunken Master and couldn't find it. TBH Drunken Master had the right feel but I couldn't find the flag portion or any reference to it.

Re: Kung Fu Movie Help
I had a quick look looks like I was wrong, there is no flag waved by the master in a clip. The other movies I can recall of Jackie Chan being trained by a master are Shaolin Wooden Men and Snake in the Eagle's Shadow but I don't think he was attacked by a flag during his training.

Re: Kung Fu Movie Help
That rings a bell.....is it not something with shaolin (shaolin master) in the title or it could be that Drunken master that someone mentioned earlier?

Re: Kung Fu Movie Help
Found it!
I was looking through some movie lists for a friend and a name jumped out at me. A quick Google image search followed by YouTube and it's confirmed: Master with Cracked Fists.
And the scene, like a lot of the movie, is rather cheesier than I remembered!
Thanks to all of you for helping!
