Without spoiling it too much for anyone who hasn't seen it yet, I thought it was really poor.
Not funny (few moments but not many), tedious story and the characters just didn't seem "right". Such a shame as I really liked the series.
Anyone else disappointed by it?

Not quite, they aired a one-off finale on Friday night. It'll be on 4OD.
I was pretty disappointed too .
Its was ok, I was maybe expecting a little more as it was a one off tho.
Yeah, it was pretty bad, though I wasn't expecting much - better than the way they wrapped up / continued /wrapped up Red Dwarf. A full series would have been nice - get the actors / characters / storyline back into full swing but that was always unlikely given that at least 2 of the key people involved have moved on significantly since the original run.

Everyone has such high hopes for finales (for any series) so it was never going to get roundly praised but I still enjoyed it.
Really average. Honestly, I wish they hadn't bothered in a way, it taints the other series.
Must admit, I didn't feel that finale either. Seemed really forced, even the old joke of the "internet" fell flat for me. Was OK to watch but it seemed to miss a lot of what made the first 3 seasons great.
It seemed to me a little forced aswell tbh. There were some funny moments and it was ok. But i think mabee they shouldn't have gone back over some of the old gags.
Yeah I'm not sure how I feel about it. To me it seemed like just another episode, I didn't dislike it but it didn't feel good enough for a one off.
I enjoyed it, but people are right, it didn't really feel like a finale in any way, apart from it being longer.
Just made me miss the series... I was dissapointed. Moss shopping for ladies pants was kind of funny.
Felt like one longer episode but cant complain.
