Alcoholic airline pilot.. off his face on drink... and coked up to his ears to straighten himself up from the booze bender.. get into nasty storm and flies like a GOD....
then goes to court for being drunk and high...
awesome film....
I'm giving this 9/10 cos I could watch it again immediately it finished and it captured me.. and scared me....

Good movie. I view it as a story of personal addiction, rather than an aviation movie. Great depiction of a First Officer, however.
The biggest mystery is how he managed to get thrust from the engines after pulling both extinguishers.

I'm told they lifted some of the dialogue from the cockpit voice recorder. Pretty sobering.

Yep I really enjoyed it also and was just as good 2nd & 3rd time around.
