    The Bridge

Anyone watching the second series? I love Saga but she seems to be a bit of a caricature of herself in this one, I preferred her when it was more subtle. Makes me laugh a lot though.

    Re: The Bridge

I did this totally backwards, watched the uk adaptation (the tunnel) then watched series 2 of the original bridge, am now watching the original first series

I can see what you mean about saga being more subtle in series 1 tho. Still enjoyed series 2 and am enjoying series 1 immensely

The tunnel was ok as an adaptation but they got martin totally wrong imho
if it ain't broke...fix it till it is

    Re: The Bridge

I've seen.. and loved.. the first series.. right up to the last episode.. and then it lost me.. not mentally.. I mean.. I got bored of the ending!

So I didn't go to the next series

But I'd still recommend series one...

    Re: The Bridge

Yes I've been enjoying these Danish and Swedish crime dramas. The Killing and The Bridge. I particularly like the soundtracks. I think the new series Hinterland, is influenced by the dark, brooding dramas. Yes I agree Saga is much better playing the Aspergers traits subtely!
