Excellent, but one slip up I noticed was using MHz for frequency.
The Hz (Hertz) as the unit of frequency was only adopted in the 1960s. Prior to that the unit was cycles per second, abbreviated to cycles.
But that anachronism apart, an excellent programme. :)
I thought it was great. Probably the greatest innovation that stopped us all speaking German.
I think we can forgive then on slip up... and everyone today knows HMz.
It was. There was a story, possibly anecdotal, that Watson-Watt was caught speeding by a radar speed trap after the war!
Back to the series, Tim McInnery played Churchill very well - hard to think of him in Black Adder!
Thought this was something to do with Ian Van Dahl lol.
Evidently Watson-Watt wrote a poem about being pulled over in Canada.
Tim McInnery was amazing, the whole cast was.
Very good film, really enjoyed it. If your ever near Norwich and fancy a trip out to a rather good museum (radar related) have at a look at

its near Horning on the Norfolk Broads, we moored a boat up and walked there. One of the best museums I have ever visited, mainly because the volunteers have been there and done what they are talking about. The Cold War opps room is rather scary, especially if you have seen wargames.
he was born in my home town :P we had status unveiled other day oh him
