Absolutely right Zak but..........this is too niche, and has far too much depth, for the majority of TV viewers.

I was a huge fan of Utopia.......which will, in time, become a Cult Classic......but Eight out of Ten Prats never even saw it, let alone would have understood it!!






It's Great that television still makes these wonderful, quirky and delightful series but I fea,r in five years time, your only choice on a Saturday night of viewing will be.....X Factor\X Factor or X Factor........such is the shallowness and lack of ambition of today's youth!!

Watched the first 2 episodes last night.....

I don't really see the depth but it is still quite funny. I think you need to be British and over a certain age to get the majority of the jokes and you can tell a lot of attention has been paid to the characters and their lives. Shame they are only 30 min episodes but then I guess there is only so much humour you get get from the subject matter without diluting it.

Just saw this recently Zak and you are right. Truly sublime. Right from the start, "Sad Tits". Loved it.

I think it's a case of .. seeing some seriously normal lives on screen and watching them do things that we'd all recognise with absolutely no intention of shocking or creating false jokes. Real life IS funny enough.

watching Andy metal detec.. and vacuum a floor... and measure road distance.. all with head phone on and in the same style makes me laugh every time.

Google Earth watermark showed the cleverness and then into the "hmmmm. ..That is suprisingly bland" moments.... show true bravery of comedy writing.
