    What are your favourite song lyrics? Anything that just works really well?

    For me, the best is from John Martyn's 'Go Down Easy', basically a love song which has the line:

    "Curl around me like a fern in the spring"

    It just evokes what it's like to be nestled up with the one you love.

    Almost anything from almost any song by Gary Numan, Tom Waits or The Sisters Of Mercy.

    We chose (I insisted on) the lyrics from Numan's song 'You Walk In My Soul' as one of the readings at our wedding.
