The Walking Dead - season one
if you haven't seen this I suggest you do :)
OK, somehow Andrew Lincoln pulls off being a US cop and not a teacher from Bristol... that's worth seeing in itself!
But the story moves well, its quite touching in places without being soppy and it's tense.
DO it.....
Re: The Walking Dead - season one
Blimey I thought I was lagging a bit having just finished Season 4 over Christmas!
It's mandatory for lead cast members to be British these days, a stunning performance I'll add.
I do like The Walking Dead.
Re: The Walking Dead - season one
For some reason I could never get into this and gave up half way through season 1. :(
Re: The Walking Dead - season one
I\'m about 3/4 of the way through season 2 and have S3 ready to go on bluray - I\'ve heard 3 is the worst of the bunch but it picks up again in 4.
I quite like the pace of it, there\'s never too much happening, although that might be a bad thing for some people.
Lincoln does well in it, though that accent does wobble a little on occasion!
Re: The Walking Dead - season one
Season 1 was fantastic as it was only 6 episodes long and thus there was no fillers.
Re: The Walking Dead - season one
The series goes downhill massively after season 1 when fired the lead writer. Season two just turns into people arguing at each other for no reason, it goes downhill from there.

I thought series 2 was a bit drawn out in the end - not awful but not a patch on series 1. I thought S3 was brilliant (although it took me a few episodes to warm up). I'm 4 episodes in to season 4 and that's very good as well.
So against common opinion, I'd say if you can get through S2 then you are golden :)
