New tv show to watch?

Looking at what's already been suggested all I really have to add to the lists are The X-Files, 24, The Shield, Deadwood and I'm also legally oblidged to recommend Twin Peaks. Even though nobody I know seems to like it! Oh, and as far as comedy goes, Peep Show and Blackadder. Seriously, the Blackadder boxed set is one of the greatest dvd purchases I have ever made :)

I loved the Sopranos but as far as consistency goes The Wire has it beat.... The early seasons were amazing and I'm one of the few people I know who liked the finale but it was all over the place sometimes. In fairness though, it's like comparing bacon and bacon. At the end of the day it's all good ;)

Watching wayward pines atm. Utterly bizarre in a thrilling kind of way. The next episode is released at the end of the month; can't wait.

Justified - I got through the whole 6 series on Sky box sets in 2-3 weeks.

Really really good. Can't remember waiting for the next episode with such excitement for a long time!

Yes, the lead actor is a great choice for the role, I'm impressed with this so far.
